If there is any proof of aliens walking among us then Emo Philips has to be it. You can't get any stranger than this...
Happy New Year Everyone!

Best wishes from The Alien Insider. The past few weeks have really been time consuming but now that the hollidays are almost over, I will surely be back to posting every few days again. See you in the new year...

Superman Returns

Well as all of you comic book fans must know by now, the teaser for next summers Superman Returns movie is out and I think it's going to be huge. It's directed by none other than Brian Singer who also directed X-Men, X2: X-Men United and Apt Pupil.

Motorolla HS810 Bluetooth Headset

This is a great little gadget and it interacts with up to eight different Bluetooth 1.1 compliant devices, including handsets, PDA's and get this... computers.

This could work really well with Gizmo or Skype, you no longer have to be confined to your computer while talking to friends.

Gizmo Project (updated)
(Originally posted Thursday November 24th)

I have now officially tested this free telephone with a friend living in Montreal and I'm happy to say that the sound quality is equivalent to that of Skype and contrary to Skype, it didn't hang-up once during our conversation. Plus it has a few extra features that Skype doesn't have. For example: It has an integrated mapping system that resembles Google Earth's software, using satellite imagery to locate the person you are talking to. Cool!

Check out Gizmo Project it's the future of internet telephone.

P.S. Telephone companies are getting really pissed off at these "free" internet phone services.
Three cheers for Gizmo: Hip hip hurray! Hip hip hurray! Hip hip hurray!

The Warriors : Can U Dig it?

O.K... So I was zapping on T.V. the other night and I came across a classic favorite of mine that I haven't seen in a long, long time: The Warriors. This movie is a cult classic, a must see. Today I was checking out giantmag.com ; a new magazine (mostly for men) that I heard about on Attack of the Show. By strange coincidence; there's a feature on David Patrick Kelly, the actor who played "Luther" in The Warriors. As I am reading about Kelly, I notice there's a link to a Warriors Website , so naturally I decide to check it out. Anyway; to make a long story short, once I'm there I see another link that takes me to The Warriors Game Website. Can U Dig it? They've turned this movie into a game. That's awesome! What pisses me off though, is it only exists on Playstation 2 and XBOX. I can only hope that one day they'll have a PC version.

P.S. While I was watching the movie, I finally figured out where I heard that famous sample used by The Mock Turtles later remixed by Fatboy Slim and Simon Thornton, also used by Pop Will Eat Itself and That Kid Chris : -- "Can U Dig It?" --

Check out the official Warriors Game website here:

F.Y.I. : Rockstargames are the ones responsible for the famous Grand Theft Auto Games. So it's gotta be good.

Google Earth

Google Earth is a powerful geographical tool that uses satellite imagery. Simply put, it's awesome! You can zoom in on just about any location on the planet. As you can see... Area 51 was one of the first places I visited (lol) and you can zoom in even closer than what you see on the picture I posted. Hell, I could even see the jet airplanes on the runways. I also tried to locate the Great Wall of China with it. You'll have hours of fun with this.
